The first ever Appalachian's People of the Planet Soccer Tournament will be held as part of the Diversity Celebration Activities on Sunday April 15 (with postponed games on April 22).  This tournament will bring together ASU and some local players from around the world to celebrate diversity on the soccer field.  Players from more than 27 countries will make four teams; two US and two international teams.  The April 22 event will be held at the ASU Soccer Stadium on State Farm. Elementary school students can participate in the event by carrying a small flag and walking with the players to the field before each game. These students will receive a gift bag and will meet the players from the US and other countries across the world.   We look forward to a great event and to seeing you there.   Thank you in advance for supportng this FREE event by participating.
