The Second Appalachian's People of the Planet Soccer Tournament will be held as part of the Diversity Celebration at the Kidd-Brewer Stadium on ASU Campus on April 6, 2008. This tournament will bring together ASU and local players from around the world to celebrate diversity on the soccer field. This year, players from more than 30 countries will play on the four adult teams; two US and two international teams. In addition to the adult teams, we will have soccer matches for four U8 (6,7,8) and U10 (9, 10, 11) boys and girls teams. Also, children can register to carry small flags with the players before each game. All players will receive a custom-made jersey and a medallion made for the event.
