I am very impressed with your efforts to integrate your students and their ideas and skills into the existing marketplace. I am the Director of Yellow Mountain Enterprises in Newland - we serve 27 adults who are developmentally disabled at our Vocational Day Program. I wanted to pass along some of our needs that your students may be interested in participating and perhaps receive credit. We are looking for someone to set up a website for us, and train a couple staff on how to maintain that site. We are also looking for someone to set up some sustainable resource development or fundraising functions. Because we are 75% dependent on government resources, and those funds are constantly shrinking, we are always looking to fill the financial gap by having fundraising projects and exploring grant opportunities. If you would kindly pass these needs along to some of your students, I would be thrilled to speak with you or them in more detail. I can be reached at our office at 828-733-2944. Thanks so much for your efforts! Deborah Powers, Director Yellow Mountain Enterprises P.O. Box 548 Newland, NC 28657 yellowmountain@bellsouth.net ====== James T.
